Effective and unexpectedly economical
I use mine in a hybrid jug-kettle, so they are catering for all my water-needs. I have been using them for two or three years and am past the honeymoon phase. They work.
Tea is cleaner looking and tasting. My Espresso machine has cut its descaling needs, and the insides of my jug-kettle are nearly as new.
After experimenting with differences between advertised and actual effective lifespan of cartridges, I conclude I can use them for twice as long before they show first signs of lessened effectiveness.
The environment of use is relevant here, so I will share it: 1/4 litre cold per day to fill espresso reservoir, 1/2 litre per day boiled at various times to make mugs of tea, and 2-litres per week brought to boiling and poured on pasta to be cooked.

My recent purchase of water filters- I am concerned that the duration of these filters are limited.
Compared to the older type of filter,for my old jug, the position of 25% has been reached very quickly.
The price per pack should be more competative.
Does the job
Clean water, and the filters are much less fiddly than ones I've used in the past. Just a shame it takes so long to filter the water through.
